70% Bobal, 10% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Garnacha

Bodegas Mustiguillo is a charming small winery built on the site of a former stable that has become a rising star in the Utiel-Requena region, just west of Valencia. Mustiguillo's owner, Toni Sarrion, is devoted to cultivating high-elevation Bobal vines in the heart of this beautiful region. Mustiguillo is unique in its quest to "rescue" the indigenous Bobal grape, primarily used in rose production. But when handled carefully, it can produce reds of remarkable quality. A hearty varietal, keeping yields low is often the biggest challenge. Other grapes are blended in varying quantities, depending on the character of the vintage, to round out this delicious red.
