and traditional varieties. Located in the main street of McLaren Vale, the
heritage-listed, ironstone-walled cellars of Tintara, the building has been
home to our hand-tended winemaking for over 80 years. Gentle open fermentation
and basket pressing methods inherited from the original Tintara Cellars of 1863
continue today. Combined with the best of modern-day techniques, Tintara
remains true to the expression of McLaren Vale character.
