Barrel 27 is a small winery from Paso Robles, California dedicated to making simple, affordable wines that work as hard as you do. However, ‘simple’ is not to say bland! Winemaker McPrice ‘Mac’ Myers cut his teeth volunteering at local wineries. After learning the ropes, he set out to make his own product, for all those who work as hard as he does. Mac also releases higher end wines under his own, eponymously-named ‘McPrice Myers’ label. The 2007 “L’Ange Rouge” comes from California’s Santa Barbara area. Only 575 cases produced.
