100% Cabernet Sauvignon

This exquisite Cabernet comes exclusively from the Ghost Block Vineyard, in the very heart of Napa Valley. Nestled on a gently sloping knoll on the north edge of Yountville, Ghost Block is named in honor of the historic Pioneer Cemetery, which it borders. The vineyard is 16 acres planted entirely to Cabernet Sauvignon. 2008 was a difficult & sporadic growing year; the season in general was cool, with lower crop sizes. However, with diligent work in the vineyards, the crop came out small, but of excellent quality. The continued development & focused farming of the vineyard has led to great vine balance and even ripening, resulting in excellent grapes. As the vineyard matures the Ghost Block profile should continue to evolve.
