Casa Amada is the second label of famed Chilean wine
producer, Casa Silva. In 1977, Mario Silva Cifuentes began working the lands of
a Colchagua Valley estate, resurrecting a family legacy with roots in 1890s
Bordeaux. In 1997, Casa Silva was created, and the company chose to move away
from the large quantity bulk wines they’d been producing, focusing instead on
quality wines of distinctive character. Today, Casa Silva’s wines must be
approved by all tasting panel members before they can be released, assuring
this quality standard is upheld.
