FRESH & FRAGRANT. Ripe apples, lemon & white flower aromas carry through to the clean, crisp and fresh palate, with a dose of lime, a hint of ginger & racy minerality. Crisp, refreshing acidity balances out this delightful white.
100% Pinot Blanc
The Lorentz family has been making wine since 1836 in the heart of the Alsace, which lies in the northeast corner of France, along the Rhine River. As far back as anyone can recall, the grapes harvested from this extraordinary estate have been vinified separately. Thus, Riesling, Pinot-Gris & Gewurztraminer from their Altenberg de Bergheim vineyards unerringly express each grape’s unique qualities, year after year. As they have down through the generations, the Lorentz family hues to tradition while also employing state-of-the-art vinification techniques and equipment. Gustave Lorentz was among the first producers in the Alsace to use screw-caps, and in 2009 they entered into a partnership with EcoCert to have their Estate vineyards certified organic within the next three years. |
