CRISP & RACY. Hints of apricot and lemon peel. The wine
has a bright acidity with a slight pear nuance on the palate. Rich, round
citrus fruit flavors take on a distinct mineral character & clean finish
typically found only in French Sauvignon.
100% Sauvignon Blanc
From the Santa Ynez valley, this limited production Sauvignon
Blanc is 100% stainless steel fermented, with 10% of the resulting wine aged in
3-4 year old French oak barrels, which adds a rich, round layer of complexity
to the racy citrus fruits. Far from over-extracted grapefruit juice, this is
not your typical California Sauvignon Blanc. Limited in production, Koehler
wines are rarely made available outside of the Winery’s own tasting room. |
