CRISP, CLEAN & BALANCED. Rich aromas of strawberry &
pomegranate, with floral & brioche notes. Accompanying the natural Pinot

The Simpson family has been growing fruit on lower
Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula for 3 generations. Before the cultivation of vineyards, the
Simpsons were a cherry farming family, caring for & harvesting over 300
acres. It was owner Bruce’s father, John
Simpson, who had the vision of vineyards & a winery. After graduating from Michigan State
University with a degree in agriculture, Bruce took advantage of the
opportunity to travel to California to study at the University of California-Davis,
the United States’ premier wine program, where he focused on viticulture &
enology. He & his wife Debbie returned
to Michigan & opened the doors of Good Harbor Vineyard in 1980, making them
the fourth established winery on the Leelanau Peninsula. |
