The effusive exotic aromatic qualities of
Vermentino are captured when fermented on the skins. This wine bursts with
musky peach, grilled herbs and rose water. The color is golden with a slight
rosy hue. The aromatics are incredibly engaging where the palate comes off with
a persistent savory edge and saline minerality that keeps the wine very refreshing.
18/20 points Decanter
Both ‘His’ and ‘Hers’ Vermentinos from Ryme are
compelling, but Hers tends to win. This vintage shows a basil verdant side and
a lime-rickey fruitiness to match a full polished texture that would look good
alongside the best of Liguria.
