GoodGrapes.Com is an Illinois based company. Recently the Illinois legislation decided that non- Illinois retailers can’t ship bubbles (champagnes and sparkling wines) to Illinois addresses. Understandably, the other states are reciprocating and not allowing Illinois based retailers to ship bubbles to their state. We are working through options on a state by state basis. However, at this time GoodGrapes.Com is limited to shipping bubbles to Illinois addresses.
Champagne accessories, gift bags, and stemware name tags can still be shipped throughout the county. Of course, Illinois state legislation could change that at any time for reasons that appear not favor the Illinois retailer.
For now, GoodGrapes.Com is refraining from commenting on this new Illinois legislation and it’s repercussions to GoodGrapes.Com and bubble drinkers throughout the county. God bless America, including the Illinois legislators.
