100% Chardonnay

93-95 points Vinous

The Corton Blanc is one of the more focused, vibrant wines in this range. Lemon peel, grapefruit and white flowers are all woven together in a pointed, chiseled wine. Wet stones, salt and a host of intense mineral notes add complexity. The 2011 is a wine of notable class and pure personality. (AG) (9/2013)

92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2011 Corton Blanc Grand Cru has a precise bouquet of scents of dried apricot, lemon sherbet and white flowers that unfurls with time. The palate is pointed and delicately spiced on the entry. This flows nicely across the mouth, though perhaps I would have liked just a little more nervosite toward the finish. Otherwise, this is a very fine Corton Blanc. Drink 2017-2030. (NM) (4/2014)

91-93 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar

Sappy aromas of crushed stone and smoky minerality. Brisk and mineral-driven, with fruit-driven, nectar-like flavors of white peach, lemon and lime given grip on the back end by iodine and rocky elements. The dry, stony finish boasts sneaky length. Very distinctive wine in the making. (9/2013)

89-92 points Allen Meadows - Burghound

As one might reasonably expect, this is notably less aromatically refined with its earth white orchard fruit aromas. There is fine complexity and excellent size and weight to the extract-rich medium weight plus flavors that culminate in a lingering finish. There isn't much finesse but for fans of power white burgs, this will fit the bill. (6/2013)
