Grapes for Prendo Pinot Grigio are grown in the Alto Adige, which is recognized as the finest region in Italy for the grape. The Wilhelm Walch winery has been producing Pinot Grigio since 1869 when the winery was founded. Since then, their winemaking philosophy has remained the same: less intervention in the cellar is better in dealing with a delicate variety like Pinot Grigio. A very aromatic bouquet offers delicate fruit along with subtle herbal overtones. On the palate it shows layers of fruit with a delightfully fresh, crisp long finish.
This is a crisp, fresh white with fruit flavor by the bucket-load, really nice weight on the palate and a lovely citrus tang on the finish. Proper Pinot Grigio! Enjoy on its own anytime or try with lighter salad dishes.
